♡ 14 ( +1 | -1 ) KIA v KIDI believe there is a difference between the King's Indian Attack (KIA) and the King's Indian Defence (KID). I believe the player, Indianking, is referring to the KID.
♡ 21 ( +1 | -1 ) It doesn't matterwhich order you play the moves in, as long as you end up with the same position. You could start with 1. Nf3 or 1. g3, or 1. d3. To give an extreme example, 1. e4 d5 2. Nf3 dxe4 3. g3 exf3 4. Bg2 fxg2 is no longer the KIA.
In the French, the moves are usually 1. e4 e6 2. d3 d5 3. Nd2 ... etc.
